My Scary Story

                                         The Shadow        

’‘Yes, it’s finally arrived!’’ Adam shouted when he came home from school. The game he had waited for the latest weeks was in his hands. ’‘But you must take it easy with it, you can’t play it for hours’’ His mom said. 

’‘Can I see?’’ Carl asked.

’’Go away!’’ Adam yelled at him.

Adam is 14 years old, he has curly bond hair, and beautiful hazel brown eyes. He isn’t very good in school and he doesn’t like it either. The only thing he is good at is to play video games. He lives with his mom-Susanna, his dad-Marcus and his littlebrother- Carl.

His mom was a nurse at a hospital and his dad was boss on a big car company, so they are pretty rich.

Adam sat in school, ’‘Come on! Only five minutes left’’ he whispered to himself. Finally the school was over, he ran out to his locker, grabbed his bag and took his bike home. It was weekend, he and his friend William had decided to have a LAN-party at Adams house. He had told his mom to buy a lot of soda and popcorn. When his mom comes home, she has a big bag of soda and popcorn.

Later that evening, William brought his computer to Adams house. They plugged in the computer and started to play. They played all kinds of games, fantasy, action and much other. 

’’I really need to go to the bathroom’’ William said.

Adams room was upstairs and the bathroom was downstairs. They didn’t want to make any noises so Adams parents would wake up. 

’’Go out to my balcony’’ Adam Said. 

But William was already there. So Adam put his headset back on and continued to play.

Minute after minute and nothing happened.

’‘Where the heck did he go?’’ Adam Said to himself as he walked towards the door.

He opened the door and looked out, it had started to rain.

’‘William! Where are you?’’

No answer.

’‘Maybe he walked behind me when I was playing’’ He thought.

He want in and started to play again.

Nothing happened, suddenly, the light went off.

’‘Not again!’’ Moaned Adam.

Adam searched through his drawer and picked up his flashlight. He walked down the squeaking stairs. He walked towards the kitchen. Then, he heard a big bounce upstairs, it sent shivers up and down his spine.
He ran up and checked whats happened. 

The door was flung open. 

’‘William! This isn’t funny! My parents is going to wake up!’’ Yelled Adam.

A lightning struck behind the house, in the light, Adam saw a shadow on the balcony.

’’ I’m here to catch you too’’ The Shadow said. 

Adam was really frightened now. 

’’ I’m going to catch you like I did with your friend’’ 

Adam slowly walked backwards, he turned around and started to run.

 But he didn’t see the bench with the computers on. He ran right in to it, the screen fell down on the floor. 

Adam laid down on the floor, he slowly turned his head agains the shadow. He was shaking like a leaf. He looked at the shadow. It just stood there.

Adam slowly stood up, as the shadow started to run towards Adam, and everything went dark.

Adam opened his eyes, he laid in his bed. It was morning, he smelled food downstairs.

’’Oh, thank God, it was just a nightmare’’ Said Adam quiet to himself.

He put on his bathrobe and his slippers and walked downstairs.

But it was one thing that Adam didn’t notice in his room, the broken screen.
