Olivet Twist was born in the nineteenth century, his mother died almost straight away after his birth, so he didn't really had the chance to meet her. He had no home, so he lived in a workhouse. On Oliver's ninth birthday, he asked for more food, that changed his life, so they sold him to the gravedigger, but Oliver soon ran away. He walked to London there he met a guy called Artful Dodger that took him to Fagin. There he met all the boys that Fagin raised up as thieves. One day when they were out, one of the guys took a mans handkerchief and they thought that it was Oliver, so he got chased and got caught and got sent to the court where he got saved by Mr. Brownlown that said that Oliver was innocent. When Oliver woke up he didn't know where he was because he was in Mr. Brownlown's house. At the moment at Fagins place were Fagin really upset because they had lost Oliver in the crowd and they were really afraid that Oliver would tell everyone what Fagin has done. Then Fagin told Nancy to go to the police station and tell the policeman that she had lost her brother, that actually was Oliver. When Nancy returned she said that Oliver was at en elderly gentleman, so Fagin was happy that Oliver didn't say something to anyone yet.
